Projects
Here is a listing of the current and previous projects I have been involved with:
Yabble is a web community of people talking about their favourite local cafes, bars and restaurants. The mobile site lets you write and search reviews from your phone as you walk around the city.
I started at Deloitte Digital working on the Innovation Academy, before moving to the Deloitte Australia Innovation Program where we use the Academy app to facilitate discussion and ideas. I also advise Deloitte on social media strategy both locally and globally.
The Hive began as an event to connect entrepreneurs of all ages from a wide range of industries, and today has grown beyond Melbourne to Brisbane and Sydney as one of Australia’s most popular entrepreneurial networking events.
I started Coverhunt to help people find CD cover artwork for their music collection, and have grown it to be a service that is used by over 100,000 visitors per month.
RMIT University Entrepreneurship Program
During the Entrepreneurship Program I received multiple Jacques Nasser scholarships for business planning, and won 2nd place in the RMIT Business Plan Competition, as well as the City of Melbourne Creative Industries award.
I have been an active blogger since blogging began, and have also been quite active on Twitter for the past three years.
Rentoid
I worked on the community and social web strategy, while launching the Rentoid coffee community events and creating the Livestream sessions after our A Current Affair feature. Recently I architected the Rentoid 2.0 structure and website redesign.
HatchThat
I created Hatchthat as a platform to interview a range of interesting people in the web startup space.
Thrive Web Marketing
I developed and managed the web presences of a variety of local small businesses.
Cisco Networking Academy
I learned how the internet works!
