The pads are available from the Pretty Bitter store, but they only seem to ship to the USA. If you live there please send me one!

What one thing are you doing today?

  • Completing your one thing in the morning before lunch is a great way to start the day!

  • Ole, yeah you could make a Facebook app but you're probably not going to get your One Thing done if you start making that!
  • Now there's a cool idea for a Facebook app - make your intended "thing" public and then, the following day announce whether you did it or not.
  • You could make one easy!
  • I totally want to see this as a twitter bot
  • caronnect
I'm working on my report - user research report. And I'm being centred and enjoying my Life at the same time. Look the latter might sound trite but it's real and tangible.
  • I was tidying up my garden.. I am now about to revert a client site back to it's state of three months ago.

I've been doing a similar thing with a post-it note.. having the ONE key thing for the day.. stuck on the top of my monitor, blocking the clock of OSX.. find it helps!

  • Actually - that's two things... I will organise my files. :-)
  • Before I answer the question: lOne thing we all do is have a list of items to do, which will never happen on any given day. There is nothing more de-motivating than only seeing 10% or 20% of our daily tasks finished. Best practice is to have max 1-3 items.... then have a list or "promotable projects".

Today - I will organise my files & plan my new office. I reckon I have a heap of producivity ahead once that's done.
  • Finish My To-Do list for today
  • I'm planning the future direction of our business and considering changing it. It is my biggest priority for not only today, but tomorrow too!
  • I'm sending a design brief for a website.
